Ja’Marr Anthony Chase was born on March 1, 2000, in Harvey, Louisiana, U.S. He attended Archbishop Rummel High School in Metairie, Louisiana, and played football as a wide receiver.

College Career

Chase played college football for the LSU Tigers from 2018-2020. In his true freshman year in 2018, he played in all 14 games and started 8. He finished the season with 23 receptions for 313 yards and three touchdowns.

Chase had a breakthrough season in 2019 as a sophomore. He won the Fred Biletnikoff Award in 2019 and led his team to win the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship. He was a Unanimous All-American and was named to the 2019 First-team All-SEC.
