College Career
Desmond joined the University of Cincinnati and played college football for the Bearcats from 2017-2021.
Ridder redshirted his true freshman season. He became the Bearcats’ starting quarterback as a redshirt freshman in 2018 and passed for 2,445 yards with 20 touchdowns and gained 583 yards rushing along with five touchdowns and was named the AAC Rookie of the Year. He was a two-time ACC Offensive Player of the Year (2020, 2021).
