Gone are the days when Ezekiel Elliott was finishing as the RB7 on the week and finishing seasons as a top-10 RB. Definitely gone, but not forgotten. With his signing in New England, fantasy football managers have been pleasantly surprised that he may, in fact, still have juice left in those well-tread tires. Elliott is currently RB36 on the season but has had four top-24 finishes, which is fairly solid running behind Rhamondre Stevenson.
In Week 10, a game that was disastrous for New England on almost all accounts, Elliott still managed 54 rushing yards and 34 receiving yards. The nice thing is that this happened in the same week that Stevenson had success. It seems that the Patriots are somehow able to support two fantasy RBs at this point in the season.
Should Ezekiel Elliott Be a Fantasy Waiver Wire Add in Week 10?
The Patriots have their bye week in Week 11, which makes targeting Elliott on waivers a little questionable. If you have a deep bench and have plenty of RBs to start in Week 11, I would target Elliott on waivers this week.

The Patriots have the best schedule for RBs for the rest of the season; the only tough rushing defense they play is in Week 15 against Kansas City. Six of the Patriots’ seven remaining opponents have given up at least 19 fantasy points to opposing RBs.
If you need a starter right now, you might have to wait on adding Elliott and hope the other managers in your league miss seeing the Patriots’ juicy RB schedule. Add in the fact that the passing game is atrocious, and it might be Bailey Zappe under center, and you can see a lot of running the ball in New England’s future.
