The Buckeyes, up 10-3 at halftime, made a goal-line stand despite Wisconsin having a fresh set of downs within their 2-yard line. Wisconsin kicked a 19-yard field goal as time expired.
One reason the Buckeyes made its stand was the effort of Tuimoloau. As the weak-side edge defender, he made a touchdown-saving tackle on Badgers running back Braelon Allen from behind. Tuimoloau was slow to get up and needed help off the field, appearing to clutch at his abdomen.
